  How does this work in NZ? Do you get a code in the box with the TiVo, is it just automatically enabled, or do you create free keys on the mytivo.co.nz website? I'm asking as I intend to bring a TiVoHD over from Australia (and put the NZ software on it). Only AU$598 at JBHiFi :)

  I bought the package, so the process was: Pay $, logon to mytivo, activate product (click a button), activate HNP (click a button), wait about 2 hour for the TiVo to say "requires reboot", install TiVo Desktop with activation key from mytivo.co.nz (part of the HNP activation process)

  I'd like to buy another key for TiVo desktop, but that is proving problematic :)

  I can't see why you could import and follows the same process. The first step for activation is "type in the number found on the back of the TiVo", and everything flows pretty easy from there.

  160Gb TiVoHD now only AU$498! Glad I didn't rush in last week. Hopefully will have one by Christmas (inlaws are coming over).

  I bought a Tivo 2 months ago and still update on the Home Networking Package problem. Is there any other way of getting Tivo to activate the MAK(Media Access Key)?

  Same boat here!! No HNP , and can't buy it anywhere.
