I thought you took over that URL Paul and pointed it to tivocentral.co.nz/nztivo. At least the content seems to have been restored since it was vandalised.

Antenna (aerial) recommendations http://tivocentral.co.nz/vanilla/discussion/2/Antenna-aerial-recommendations Sun, 11 Oct 2009 00:20:15 -0600 TerminalAddict 2@/vanilla/discussions So I've got one of those "fishbone" type aerials on my roof .. will that do?

I can receive some Freeview channels .. but TV3 seems to struggle . .I'm currently using an HP laptop for testing

HNP http://tivocentral.co.nz/vanilla/discussion/6/HNP Wed, 25 Nov 2009 03:46:37 -0600 John McKirdy 6@/vanilla/discussions How does this work in NZ? Do you get a code in the box with the TiVo, is it just automatically enabled, or do you create free keys on the mytivo.co.nz website? I'm asking as I intend to bring a TiVoHD over from Australia (and put the NZ software on it). Only AU$598 at JBHiFi :)

Codecs problems http://tivocentral.co.nz/vanilla/discussion/8/Codecs-problems Mon, 07 Dec 2009 23:55:14 -0600 TerminalAddict 8@/vanilla/discussions Interesting discovery: I have TiVo Desktop running on my win7 laptop, and transfers work flawlessly.

I've just setup a permanent "server" using XP, that I can leave on all the time (in my garage) but movies transfer with no sound.

I suspect this is a codecs problem, so I've installed a codec pack to see if that resolves it, if not I upgrade to win7 I guess

Wordpress / editing website http://tivocentral.co.nz/vanilla/discussion/7/Wordpress-editing-website Mon, 30 Nov 2009 02:27:35 -0600 John McKirdy 7@/vanilla/discussions Proving a bit frustrating to edit the content - can't see how to put nztivo intro/title before sub-pages. Can't seem to insert or create a table, or even insert 'tab' character.

Series 1 for sale http://tivocentral.co.nz/vanilla/discussion/5/Series-1-for-sale Wed, 25 Nov 2009 03:29:37 -0600 John McKirdy 5@/vanilla/discussions Paul I noticed you have put your Series 1 up for sale, I'll mention it to anyone I can think of who might want it. Good price considering large HDD and cache card. Relist it, even if it doesn't sell it raises awareness of the S1 community, sonce people will be searching for TiVo on Trademe now. Have you also gotten rid of Sky? You wouldn't watch it without a TiVo! I couldn't see any way to comment on the original post, is it not possible for items in the main feed? Also I couldn't work out how to edit the NZTiVo content.

Telecom fail http://tivocentral.co.nz/vanilla/discussion/3/Telecom-fail Wed, 14 Oct 2009 00:52:49 -0600 TerminalAddict 3@/vanilla/discussions I rung the guys at the local Telecom store.

They have no clue whatsoever what the official launch date is :(
Although they did say the WILL be selling them

I guess a TiVo boffin like me is more likely to know anyway
